Meet Julie Taylor, MD, MPH

Julie Taylor MD, MPH, is a bioidentical hormone replacement specialist and functional medicine physician with her own private practice – Julie Taylor MD Center for Functional Medicine – located in Pasadena, California. Dr. Taylor is a Los Angeles native who loved growing up in Southern California and is honored to have the opportunity to serve her local community. 

Dr. Taylor attended the University of Washington for her undergraduate degree and subsequently completed her master's in public health at Loma Linda University. She then attended Michigan State University for medical school and returned to Loma Linda University to complete her residency in preventive medicine. 

Today, Dr. Taylor lives in the LA area, where she and her husband are raising their three young children. Outside of the office, she enjoys volunteer work and is a board member in the local school district where her children attend elementary school. She and her family love traveling, hiking with their golden retriever, and skiing together. 

Dr. Taylor is currently working on writing her first book on hormone therapy.

She is currently only accepting new patients by referral.
